TIM EVANS
Principal Developer and Builder
Timothy R. Evans, Sr., an Alabama native, is a business professional with more than thirty years’ experience in residential construction, commercial construction, and community planning, with extensive experience in residential marketing. Tim began his career working for Evans Builders, a family-owned company. He then started his own general contracting company, Lakewood Development Inc. located in Montgomery, Alabama which provided new homes and subdivisions of various price ranges for the Elmore county area. Joint venture developments included the exclusive Trillium Subdivision on Lake Martin. In 2003, his new company, D E Enterprises, LLC joined the esteemed Southern Living (Magazine) Custom Home Program. Program homes are built by a select group of Southern residential home builders who must meet the high standards set by Southern Living. Program builders are selected based on an excellent reputation and the superior quality and attention to detail demonstrated in homes constructed. Tim also joined an esteemed group of home builders from the Lake Martin area to form The Ridge Builder Program with subdivision developer, Russell Lands. The Ridge offers high-end custom waterfront homes starting in the $1,000,000 range. And, with additional partners, he constructed the subdivision, Cascades at Sandy Creek, a cozy, 21-unit lake development located on Lake Martin. Tim Evans was raised in the Eclectic, AL area and attended college in Auburn.
STEVE COX
Marketing Director
Steve was the visionary and co-founder of one of the first ecotourism companies in the world. As a world leader in nature travel, International Expeditions was at the forefront of the sustainability movement, using conservation and education based tourism to fund projects in tropical rainforest locations.
Steve has applied the same concepts practiced in ecotourism and sustainable travel to benefit his home state of Alabama. Forging collaborations with Alabama Tourism, he created the receptive tour company, Explore The South and Conservancy Travel which specialize in foreign travel.
